Melanie is a transformational leader with 30+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry during which the last 20 years she has been conducting internal audits in the healthcare provider and payer environments. Her level of audit experience includes revenue cycle, compliance, operational, financial, human resources, materials management, Sarbanes-Oxley, medical management, project management, health insurance, model audit rule testing, and IT auditing. 

Melanie functions a change agent, collaborating with management on strategic and innovative business process ideas and solutions. Her superior people and communication skills allow her to build consensus with vendors, key stakeholders, and executive management.

Melanie has held several positions within the healthcare industry including Chief Audit Executive and has had extensive experience presenting audit findings to executive management and Audit and Corporate Compliance Committees.

Melanie received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from Hunter College of The City University of New York and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration & Policy from Mount Sinai School Of Medicine/Bernard Baruch College of The City University of New York. She also received her Doctor of Healthcare Administration from Franklin University and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
